Description

The Nans S/31.2 Outrack is an outdoor track pendant light with a woven shade: a rounded cylinder of open lattice in Brown Shade (with Beige and Light Grey), on a Brown structure. The shade is 45.7cm tall and 31.5cm across, and it hangs on a 200cm suspension. Its light is an integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It draws 12.6W and gives 408lm, 416lm or 430lm depending on the version, with a CRI of 90, so faces, food and planting keep their true colours. It comes in 2400K, 2700K or 3000K.

This is a light made for outside. It is rated IP54 and suits outdoor use, so it can hang over a garden dining table, along a terrace or beneath a pergola, where the open weave gives an easy, relaxed look as evening comes on. It belongs to the Outrack range, a 24V DC track system, and it needs two parts that are sold separately. The first is the Outrack track it fits, which holds the pendant and carries power to it. The second is an Outrack 24V power supply for the track, which turns the mains into the 24V DC the track runs on. The pendant will not light without both, so please plan them into your order.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre. Power comes from the mains, through its track (24V DC), and as a Class III fitting it runs at that low voltage rather than full mains voltage at the pendant itself. The track and its power supply are for a qualified electrician to install. The light source is built in, so there are no lamps to replace. Before you order, measure the drop you want from the track to the shade, bearing in mind the suspension is 200cm long.
