Description

The Nans S/16 Outrack is a compact woven pendant light made to hang from the Outrack track outdoors. Its barrel-shaped shade, the Brown Shade, is 16.5cm tall and 16.7cm across. It has a brown lattice of synthetic fibre over a beige and light grey weave, so the light glows softly through the pattern. Inside is an 8.6W integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and its CRI of 90 keeps food, faces and planting looking true to colour. It comes in 2400K, 2700K or 3000K, with an output of 327lm, 341lm or 353lm depending on the version.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use, so it suits a terrace, a patio, a pergola or a garden dining area, where a few small lanterns over a table make an evening outside feel settled and inviting. It hangs on a suspension length of 200cm, which lets the shade sit well below a high pergola beam. It needs two things, each sold separately. The first is the Outrack track it fits, which carries the pendant and feeds it power. The second is an Outrack 24V power supply for the track, which converts the mains supply to the 24V DC the light runs on. It will not work without both.

The structure is brown, and the fitting is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre. It is a Class III fitting, powered from the mains through its track at 24V DC, and the track and its power supply are for a qualified electrician to install. The one choice to make when you order is the colour temperature: 2400K for the softest, candle-like glow, 2700K for a warm white, or 3000K for a slightly crisper light where you want to see clearly what you are serving.
