Description

The Nans M/21/R is a small rechargeable table lamp with a woven shade and a carry handle, so it goes wherever you want a little light. The shade is woven synthetic fibre in Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey), and the structure is Graphite Brown, in stainless steel and aluminium. It stands 20.4cm tall, the shade 16.5cm tall and 16.7cm across, with a 12.3cm handle. The light is an integrated LED of 3W giving 147 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, so there is never a bulb to buy or change, and with a CRI of 90, colours look true beneath it.

It runs on a rechargeable battery, charged by USB-C, so once it is charged there is no cable to trail across the room. That makes it an easy lamp for a bedside table, where it gives a low, warm glow to wind down by, and for the living room, where it can sit on a side table, a shelf or a sideboard and move to the coffee table when the evening calls for it. The handle means you can carry it from the living room to the bedroom at the end of the day and take its light with you. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The Graphite Brown structure, in stainless steel and aluminium, makes a dark, quiet counterpoint to the pale weave of the shade, and the open pattern of the synthetic fibre lets the light through in a soft, patterned glow. It runs at 5V DC from its battery. In practice there is nothing to wire and no bulb to fit: charge it by USB-C, set it down where you want it, and pick it up by its handle when you want the light somewhere else.
