Description

The Nans Balis S/140 Outrack is a long, linear outdoor track pendant light from our Outrack range. A lattice shade in red, with orange and beige, hangs beneath a slim brown structure, giving a textured glow along its whole length. It is 140cm long and 27cm wide, with a shade 13cm high, and it hangs on a drop of up to 200cm. The light source is an integrated LED of 44W, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and a CRI of 90 means food, faces and planting look natural under it. It comes in 2400K, 2700K or 3000K, and its output is 1761lm, 1821lm or 1883lm by version.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use: over a garden dining table, along a covered terrace or under a pergola, wherever a long table needs light from one end to the other. It needs two parts sold separately: the Outrack track it fits, which holds the pendant and carries its power, and an Outrack 24V power supply for the track, which powers the track from the mains. It will not light without both. The fitting runs on mains power, through its track, at 24V DC, and the track and its power supply are for a qualified electrician to install.

It is made from aluminium, synthetic fibre and stainless steel, and its IP54 rating means it is protected against dust and splashing water from any direction, so it can stay out in the open. As a Class III fitting it runs on the low 24V DC supply from its track. The brown structure and red shade, with orange and beige, sit well among planting, timber and stone. A practical note: choose your colour temperature when you order: 2400K for the warmest, most candle-like glow, 2700K for a soft warm white, or 3000K for a crisper white at a working table.
