Description

The Nans A/02 is a woven outdoor wall light that gives a warm glow through its open weave. A single barrel-shaped shade in Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey) hangs from a slim curved arm and a round wall rose in Graphite Brown. Inside sits an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 9.5W and gives 386 lumens of 2700K warm white light, with a CRI of 90, so faces, planting and brickwork keep their natural colour. The light stands 34.4cm tall and reaches 29cm out from the wall, with a shade 24.6cm tall and 21.6cm across, on a wall rose that measures 12cm.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use, so it suits a front door, a porch, a patio or a garden wall, and it sits just as happily on a terrace beside the table where you eat on summer evenings. Its 386 lumens give a gentle, welcoming light rather than a floodlight's glare, which makes it a good choice for marking a doorway or a path and for adding atmosphere where you sit outside. A pair either side of an entrance frames it neatly, and a run along a garden wall gives a soft rhythm of light after dark.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre, with the structure finished in Graphite Brown, a dark tone that sits quietly against render, stone or timber and lets the Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey) shade take the eye. The LED is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can turn the glow down for a quieter evening. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician, so it is worth choosing its spot by the door or on the terrace before the work is booked.
