Description

The Murané R is a large ring chandelier: a slim band in a Brushed Champagne finish, 150cm across, set with twelve spheres of rippled Smoke Grey glass, each 15cm across. The spheres are spaced around the ring, some resting on top and some hanging beneath it, so the glow is spread around the whole circle rather than gathered at one point. The light source is an integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It draws 32W and gives 1765lm of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, wood and skin tones looking natural.

At 150cm across, this chandelier needs space around it. We would hang it over a large dining table, where the ring lights everyone seated around it, or centred in a generous living room with plenty of height. The Smoke Grey glass softens the light and gives each sphere a gentle tint, while the Brushed Champagne finish on the ring adds warmth with a soft, low sheen. It suits rooms where you want one generous fitting at the centre of the room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for indoor use.

The chandelier runs at 24V DC and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician through a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which converts the mains supply to the 24V DC the LEDs run on. It comes without its canopy, so you will also need a Murané R canopy, sold separately: the part at the ceiling that the chandelier hangs from. We suggest ordering both with the chandelier, so your electrician has everything to hand for one visit. Before ordering, measure your table or room: at 150cm across, the ring wants clear space on every side.
