Description

The Murané R is a ring chandelier: a slim hoop 120cm across in a Brushed Champagne finish, with Forest Green glass spheres hung around it, some sitting above the ring and some below. Each sphere is 15cm across, and the glass has a rippled, uneven surface that catches the light. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 1177lm from 21W at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so food, fabrics and skin tones look true to colour.

At 120cm across, this is a chandelier for a generous room. We like it over a long dining table, where the ring frames the space above the table, or at the centre of a large living room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. Two parts are needed before it goes up. It comes without its canopy, so you will need a Murané R canopy, sold separately, which is the fitting it hangs from at the ceiling. It runs on 24V DC, so it also needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which converts the mains supply to the low voltage the LEDs use.
