Description

The Murané R is a ring chandelier: a slim circle in a Brushed Champagne finish, 140cm across, set with twelve amber glass spheres, each 10cm across. The glass is rippled and textured, so the light breaks into warm, shifting reflections across each sphere. Its light source is integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It draws 32W and gives 1765 lumens at 2700K, a warm white close to traditional lamplight, with a CRI of 90, so colours look natural under it.

At 140cm across, this is a chandelier for a generous room: a dining room, hung over a long table, or a living room with space for a ring this wide. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. Before it can light, it needs two parts sold separately. The first is the Murané R canopy, which fixes to the ceiling and covers the connection there; the chandelier comes without its canopy, and no version comes with one. The second is a remote 24V DC driver, which converts the mains supply to the 24V DC the chandelier runs on; the chandelier is wired in to the mains through it by an electrician.

The finish is Brushed Champagne, a soft, warm metallic tone with a fine brushed grain that pairs naturally with the amber of the glass. The spheres are spaced around the ring, so the light is shared evenly across the whole circle, and the rippled glass softens each point of light. It is a Class III fitting running at 24V DC, and it is for a qualified electrician to install. On a practical note, measure your table or seating area first, so the ring hangs centred over it with clear space on every side.
