The Merchant is a compact oval bulkhead in raw brass: a flush wall light with a brass cage across clear ribbed glass. The body is solid brass with a polyamide back plate, and four fixing lugs, two at each end, hold it close to the wall. It is 20cm long, 13.5cm wide and 8cm deep and weighs 0.81KG, so it fits a narrow strip of wall beside a door where a bigger lantern would crowd the frame. The IP64 rating settles the outdoor question: it is dust-tight and protected from splashing water, so it can live outside through every season of British weather.

Put it beside a front door, in a porch, along a garden wall or on a boathouse, anywhere a small, sturdy light earns its place.
