Marvoro 1 Light Hanging Bowl Travertine Wall Light - Walnut Brown & Light Beige

The Marvoro is a wall light built around a 150mm travertine bowl shade in light beige, suspended from a black angled arm that cantilevers out from a circular walnut brown backplate. A spherical glass diffuser sits beneath the stone bowl, housing a single G9 lamp that casts light up into the textured underside of the travertine and outward through the diffuser itself.

The hanging configuration is what sets the Marvoro apart from a standard fixed sconce. The arm extends outward from the wall before dropping vertically on a suspension rod, giving the shade a 260mm projection and 300mm overall height. This makes it well suited to bedside reading positions, hallway feature walls, and living room alcoves where a flush sconce would feel static. Installed in pairs either side of a bed, the suspended bowls introduce symmetry without the bulk of a traditional twin-arm wall fitting.

Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, and each bowl shows different surface pores, mineral veining and tonal shifts depending on the section it was cut from. The pale beige stone pairs warmly with the walnut brown backplate and the matt black metalwork, giving the fitting three distinct material registers in a compact 30cm-class footprint. The G9 socket accepts standard capsule lamps up to the rating noted on the fitting (sold separately).

What bulb does the Marvoro take?

The fitting takes a single G9 capsule lamp, which is sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm white G9 LED between 2700K and 3000K to complement the natural beige tone of the travertine and the walnut backplate.

Does each travertine bowl look the same?

No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the surface pores, veining and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. Two Marvoro wall lights installed as a pair will share the overall pale beige character but each bowl will have its own surface pattern.

How far does it project from the wall?

The arm extends outward from the wall by 260mm before the bowl drops on its vertical suspension rod, with a total fitting height of 300mm. This makes it suitable as a bedside wall light without crowding the pillow, and as a hallway accent where a deeper projection adds visual interest.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Marvoro is an indoor wall light without a stated IP rating, so it is intended for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and reading areas rather than bathroom zones. Travertine is also porous and reacts to prolonged humidity, so dry-room installation is recommended.
