What are these screws used for?

These screws fix Knightsbridge curved grid faceplates to the metal sub-frame that mounts onto the back box. They are not used for fixing the sub-frame to the wall — that uses separate fixing screws supplied with the back box or sub-frame.

Are they compatible with flat grid faceplates?

No. These are designed for curved grid faceplates only. Flat grid faceplates use a different screw length and head profile.

How many screws does each faceplate need?

A standard single or double-width curved grid faceplate typically uses two screws. Wider multi-gang grid assemblies may use four or more depending on the plate width and module count.

Can these be reused if a faceplate is removed?

Yes, provided the thread has not been stripped or damaged. The nickel plating provides some wear resistance, but repeated removal and refitting may eventually damage the thread on either the screw or the sub-frame insert.
