Description

The Luxeon Wide is a 1120mm linear track light with an integrated 26W LED module housed in a matt black aluminium extrusion. The fitting mounts onto Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems and can be adjusted along the track length to direct light where needed. The 4000K colour temperature produces neutral white light suitable for task lighting, display lighting and general illumination in commercial and residential interiors.

Designed for offices, retail displays, galleries and studios where flexible overhead lighting is required, the Luxeon Wide delivers a continuous 1120mm line of light rather than the spotlit effect of individual track heads. The track-mounted design allows the fitting to be repositioned along the track without re-wiring, making it useful for spaces where display or desk arrangements change over time. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations.

The aluminium body measures 22mm in projection from the track, giving a low-profile appearance when ceiling-mounted. The dimmable LED works with compatible dimmers to adjust output from full brightness down to lower levels for ambient lighting or after-hours use. The matt black finish on the aluminium blends with contemporary ceiling schemes and minimises reflections under ceiling spotlights or daylight from windows.

What track system does the Luxeon Wide fit?

The Luxeon Wide is designed for Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems. It will not fit standard 3-circuit track or other manufacturer track profiles. Confirm your existing track is Ego profile before ordering.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when used with a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and circuit load, so test before final installation if dimming is required.

What colour temperature is the LED?

The LED is fixed at 4000K, which produces a neutral white light tone between the warmer 3000K residential lighting and the cooler 5000K-6500K industrial/office lighting. It suits workspaces, retail displays and task lighting.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not splash-proof and should only be installed in dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require a minimum IP44 rating for zones 2 and 3.
