Description

The Luxeon is a 19W dimmable LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical matt black aluminium body, producing 4000K neutral white light from an integrated LED module. The spotlight attaches magnetically to compatible track systems, allowing it to be repositioned along the track without tools or re-wiring.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, workshop task lighting and commercial interiors where directed light needs to be adjusted over time, the magnetic mounting gives positioning flexibility that fixed track heads cannot offer. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and cool white, providing clarity for colour-accurate work and product display without the clinical tone of 5000K+ lamps. The dimmable LED works with compatible leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers to adjust output from full brightness down to approximately 10%.

The aluminium body measures 230mm in length with a 72mm diameter head, housing a multi-fin passive cooling system that dissipates heat without fans or noise. The IP20 rating limits the spotlight to dry indoor environments only. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, keeping the spotlight visually recessive when the focus needs to be on what it illuminates rather than the fitting itself. Ideal Lux backs the integrated LED with a 5-year warranty covering the driver and LED module.

The Luxeon uses a magnetic attachment designed for Ideal Lux magnetic track systems. It will not fit standard three-circuit track or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks without confirmation of cross-compatibility. Contact us to verify compatibility with your existing track before ordering.

Is the spotlight dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 19W LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility varies by model — check the dimmer specification or contact us to confirm pairing before installation.

4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700-3000K) and cool white (5000K+). It provides clear, accurate colour rendering for task lighting and product display without the yellow tone of warm white or the blue-white tone of daylight-temperature LEDs.
