Description

The Lumos is a GU10 bulb adapter in matt black metal that converts a standard E27 or bayonet ceiling rose to accept GU10 twist-lock spotlight bulbs. The 57mm diameter housing contains the GU10 socket mechanism and provides a recessed aperture that directs light downward once a bulb is fitted.

Designed for downlight retrofits and custom pendant builds, the Lumos allows GU10 bulbs (sold separately) to be used in fittings that were not originally designed for them. The adapter screws or clips into a standard UK ceiling rose, then accepts any GU10 bulb via the twist-and-lock mechanism. This makes it useful for converting existing pendant fittings to directional spotlights, or for builders creating custom downlight positions without cutting into ceilings.

The matt black finish on the metal housing means the adapter blends into dark ceiling recesses or sits flush against black ceiling roses without visual contrast. The internal contact points provide stable electrical connection to the GU10 pins, and the metal construction dissipates heat from LED, halogen or other GU10 bulb types.
