Description

The Lumos is a GU10 bulb adapter in white-painted metal that converts ceiling fittings to accept GU10 LED or halogen bulbs. At 57mm diameter, it fits standard European ceiling roses and sits flush to the ceiling once installed, housing a bayonet or screw fitting bulb holder converted to GU10 twist-and-lock socket.

Designed for retrofitting ceiling lights where the original fitting uses a different bulb base, the Lumos allows GU10 downlight bulbs to be used in fixtures that were wired for bayonet cap or Edison screw fittings. This is particularly useful when replacing old ceiling lights with modern recessed downlights or when standardising bulb types across a property. The adapter mounts directly to the ceiling rose and accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to the wattage rating of the existing circuit.

The white metal construction provides both electrical insulation and physical durability, with a powder-coat finish that resists yellowing under heat from halogen bulbs.
