Description

The Look is a short square-section metal tube that mounts flat and lights from both open ends, sending one beam up the wall and one down. A GU10 lamp sits at each tip, so the surface behind carries twin cones of light while the body stays dark between them. In matt black the angular bar reads as a crisp graphic mark, holding its shape whether the spots are lit or off.

The tube measures 150mm tall by 60mm across and projects 80mm, keeping close to the wall in a compact block that suits a bedside, a hallway or a run beside a doorway. It uses two GU10 lamps, both included, so it lights as soon as it is wired. The square profile gives a sharper, more architectural edge than the round version of the same piece.

The base and body are metal in a matt black finish, rated IP20 for dry indoor walls. It carries no driver, so brightness and warmth follow the GU10 bulbs you fit rather than any control on the fitting itself. We would leave the wiring to an electrician.

Which way does the light go?

Up and down. One GU10 spot points at the ceiling and one at the floor, so a cone of light climbs the wall and another drops below, giving a symmetrical grazing wash on the surface behind.

Do the bulbs come with it?

Yes. Two GU10 lamps are supplied, one for each end, so the piece is complete on arrival and ready to wire in with no separate bulb to buy.

Is it dimmable?

There is no dimmer in the fitting. As it runs on GU10 lamps, dimming is possible by using dimmable GU10 bulbs together with a matching wall control.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The square body is 150mm tall, 60mm wide and stands 80mm off the wall. Its small footprint works at a bedside, in a hallway or beside a door, alone or as a pair.
