Description

Lola is a recessed LED downlight with a slim cylindrical head on a short pivot stem below a round canopy, so the beam can be angled towards whatever you want to light. We sell it in black. The head is 5.2cm across and 20.3cm long, and the canopy is 8cm across and 8.2cm high. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 18W and gives 1995lm through a 24° beam, a fairly tight spot. Lola comes in a 2700K version for a warm, homely white or a 3000K version for a slightly crisper white, and both have a CRI of 85.

That narrow 24° beam makes Lola a natural accent light: aim it at a painting, a run of shelves or a dining table, and the light lands where you point it rather than spilling across the room. In a kitchen, a line of them over an island or a worktop gives focused light for preparing food, and because each head angles, you can correct for a cupboard or an awkward ceiling joist. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is dimmable by DALI or push control, so you can bring it into a DALI lighting control system or dim it from a push switch.

Lola fits into the ceiling through a 6.5cm cut-out, with the round canopy finishing the hole and the head hanging beneath it. It is powered from the mains, wired in by an electrician, and a qualified electrician should install it. Its electrical rating is 500MADC and it is Protection Class III. The black finish sits quietly against a dark ceiling and stands out crisply against a white one. Before you order, check the 6.5cm cut-out against your ceiling and choose between 2700K and 3000K so it matches the other lights in the room.
