Description

The Knightsbridge 1000mm link power cord connects two LED under-cabinet fittings across gaps up to one metre, allowing continuous lighting runs in kitchens, workshops and retail displays where cabinets are spaced wider apart. The white twin-core cable carries 230V mains power between fittings, eliminating the need for separate wiring back to the supply for each light.

Designed for installations where standard 300-500mm link cords fall short, the 1000mm length suits kitchen layouts with appliance gaps, shelving systems with irregular spacing, and commercial displays where fittings cannot sit directly adjacent. The cable connects via push-fit or screw terminals depending on the fitting model, and its 1m reach allows lighting to remain on a single circuit without visible cable drops or additional junction boxes.

The white finish matches most under-cabinet fittings and blends into white or light-coloured cabinet undersides. The twin-core construction carries both live and neutral conductors in a single sheath, keeping the cable run neat and avoiding multiple loose wires. The cord is rated for continuous 230V 50Hz mains operation and carries a 1-year warranty.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The cord is rated for 230V mains operation in dry indoor environments only. It carries no IP rating and is not suitable for damp locations, bathrooms or outdoor use.

Is the cable length adjustable?

The cable is supplied at a fixed 1000mm length and should not be shortened as this may invalidate the warranty and create unsafe connections. If a shorter link is needed, use the 300mm or 500mm variants available separately.

How many fittings can be linked on one cord?

Each cord connects two fittings. To link three or more fittings in series, use multiple link cords daisy-chained between each fitting, ensuring the total wattage does not exceed the circuit rating.
