Description

The Lika is a compact rectangular ceiling spot, a small surface-mounted box in matt black die-cast aluminium that sends a single directed beam straight down. A recessed LED sits behind a black reflector set into the face, so the source stays out of direct view and the light reads as a clean pool below rather than a visible lamp. Off, it holds a low, tidy block against the ceiling at just 135mm long.

The LED is built in and gives 2450 lumens through a 48-degree beam, a broader and much brighter pool than the 6W version that can carry a kitchen island, a desk or a seating spot on its own. Colour is a warm 3000K with a colour rendering above 90, so tones stay true, and the black internal reflector keeps glare low at UGR below 16. The wider spread suits it to a working surface where an even wash of light is wanted.

The body is painted die-cast aluminium in matt black with a black polycarbonate reflector, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and built to Class II. The driver is in-built and included, and the fitting runs on plain on-off switching as supplied, with an optional DALI or push driver available if dimming is needed. We supply it complete, with the LED built in and nothing to fit.

What kind of light does it cast?

A focused warm downlight. The built-in LED sits behind a black reflector and throws 2450 lumens through a wider 48-degree beam at 3000K, covering a working surface with an even warm pool.

Is there a bulb to fit?

No. The LED is built into the body with the driver included, rated for about 50,000 hours, so the spot arrives ready to wire with no lamp to add or replace in normal use.

Can it be dimmed?

Not as supplied. It runs on plain on-off switching, so the warm output holds at one level. An optional DALI or push driver from the same range can be fitted if dimming is required, and we can advise on this before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The body is 135mm long, 80mm high and 35mm deep, mounted flat to the ceiling. The brighter, wider beam suits a kitchen island, a desk or a seating area, on its own or grouped.
