Description

The Knightsbridge Grid flex outlet module is a single-width module designed to allow appliance cables up to 10mm diameter to pass through a Grid wiring panel. The module includes a replaceable 13A fuse for appliance protection circuits, housed behind a smoked bronze faceplate with a central cable outlet aperture.

Designed for kitchen worktops, home offices and workshop installations where fixed appliances (washing machines, tumble dryers, bench-mounted power tools) need to be wired into a modular grid panel without using a 13A socket, the flex outlet allows a hard-wired connection while retaining the modular Grid format. The module is 1-gang width (24.8mm) and clips into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames from the front without requiring removal of the frame from the wall.

The smoked bronze finish is a dark, warm metallic tone that pairs with traditional and transitional interiors. The module body is ABS plastic with a steel internal frame, and requires a 35mm minimum back box depth. The 13A fuse is user-replaceable by removing the faceplate. Knightsbridge backs the module with a 25-year warranty.

What cable diameter does it accept?

The module accepts appliance flex cables up to 10mm diameter. This suits most household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and bench-mounted workshop tools.

Does it require a separate Grid mounting frame?

Yes. The module clips into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames, which are sold separately. The frame is fixed to the back box first, then modules clip in from the front.

Is the 13A fuse replaceable?

Yes. The faceplate can be removed to access the fuse holder, allowing the 13A fuse to be replaced without removing the module from the mounting frame.

What finish options are available in the Grid range?
