The Knightsbridge 2-gang grid faceplate is an 88mm square brushed chrome screwless cover plate designed for use with modular grid switch and socket systems. The faceplate clips onto a separate grid frame (GDS001F, sold separately) that houses individual grid modules, providing a screwless finish with no visible fixings once installed.

Designed for residential, commercial and hospitality installations where modular switching is needed, the grid system allows up to two grid modules to be fitted behind this faceplate. Common configurations include light switch combinations, dimmer switches paired with sockets, or data/phone outlets grouped with power. The screwless design maintains a clean finish in finished interiors where visible screws would detract from wall aesthetics.

The premium-grade steel construction with brushed chrome finish provides a contemporary metallic accent that coordinates with Knightsbridge's wider screwless switches and sockets range. The 3.5mm projection from the wall keeps the faceplate profile low, minimising the visual bulk of the installed fitting. The brushed finish reduces fingerprint visibility and softens reflections compared to polished chrome.

The faceplate carries a 25-year warranty and an IP20 rating for standard dry indoor use. It does not include an earth terminal as earthing is managed through the separate grid frame. The modular system allows individual grid modules to be replaced or reconfigured without replacing the entire faceplate.
