Jackie is a slim LED table lamp in a black finish, made up of a square base, two long angled arms and a flat square head that carries the light. It stands 54cm tall and reaches 59cm, with a head measuring 10.5cm and a base measuring 17.5cm, so it takes up little room on a desk while holding its light well out over the surface. The integrated LED draws 10W and gives 706 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a colour rendering index of 90, so paper, fabric and skin tones look true to life. A 90 degree beam spreads a broad, even pool of light beneath the head.

We like it on a desk or bedside table in a bedroom, or on a writing desk or side table in a living room, where its long reach brings the light over a book, a laptop or a piece of sewing without crowding the table top. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. Jackie comes in two versions, Without Presence Detector and Presence Detector, so you can choose the lamp with a presence detector or the one without. Step dimming lets you take the light down in stages for a softer glow later in the evening.

The lamp is Class II, which means it is double insulated, and it runs at 230V. It plugs in, so it can stand wherever there is a socket within reach of the desk or table. The black finish runs through the base, both arms and the head, giving a clean, single colour line that sits easily beside dark wood, white walls or a busy shelf of books. Because the light source is an integrated LED, there is no bulb to buy, fit or replace, and at 10W it is an easy lamp to leave on through a long evening of reading or work.
