Description

The Hilow is an LED ceiling light built as an open frame: three long parallel bars crossed by three shorter bars set at an angle, with white diffusers along the bars that soften the light into clean lines. It measures 113cm wide and 82cm high, so it covers a generous stretch of ceiling. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. Depending on version it draws 72W or 78W and gives 4602 or 4897 lumens, with a CRI of 90 that keeps wood, fabric and skin tones looking true. We offer it in White, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass and Brushed Titanium, and with a choice of 3000K or 2700K light.

With that much light spread across a wide frame, the Hilow suits rooms where one fitting has to do the main work: a living room, a dining room, a hallway or a studio. It works just as well in hotel lounges, reception areas and offices, where several can be set out across a large ceiling to light the whole space evenly. Choose 2700K for a warmer, softer feel in the evening, or 3000K for a slightly crisper light. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

It comes in two versions. The DALI or push dimmable version can join a DALI lighting control system or dim from a simple push switch. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which supplies the 24V DC the fitting runs on; it will not work without one. Either way, the Hilow is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Before you order, measure your ceiling: at 113cm wide and 82cm high it needs a clear, open area, away from beams and other fittings, to sit properly. Our photographs show the brushed bronze version.
