The Hilow is a large LED wall light: a lattice of slim rods in a brushed brass finish, crossing at right angles, with one black linear diffuser running across the frame. It is 113cm wide, 82cm tall and 13cm deep, so it reads as much like a piece of wall art as a light. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It comes in two versions, the DALI or push dimmable version and the 24V DC version, and in a choice of 2700K or 3000K colour temperature. Depending on the version, it draws 71W or 77W and gives 3812lm or 4088lm.

With that much light from a single fitting, the Hilow suits a living room, a dining room or a bedroom where you want one wall to set the mood of the whole room. Fixed above a sideboard, beside a dining table or over a bed, its brushed brass lines draw the eye. Choose 2700K for a warmer, softer glow in the evening, or 3000K for a slightly crisper white. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The brushed brass finish has a soft, low sheen rather than a mirror shine, and the black diffuser draws a crisp dark line through the frame. A CRI of 90 means wood, fabrics and skin tones look natural under its light. The Hilow is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. The DALI or push dimmable version can be dimmed through a DALI control system or with a push switch. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which converts the mains supply to the 24V DC the fitting runs on; that version will not work without it. Agree where the driver will be housed before your electrician starts.
