Description

The Hilow is an LED ceiling light built from long, slender bars in a Brushed Titanium finish, each fitted with a black diffuser frame. Long parallel bars are crossed by shorter ones set at an angle, so the light reads as a loose grid drawn across the ceiling. It measures 113cm wide and 82cm high, with a 32cm canopy. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and it draws 72W or 78W and gives 2356lm or 2651lm, depending on the version. It has a CRI of 90, which keeps wood, fabric and skin tones looking true.

At 113cm wide, the Hilow is made for a generous room: above a long dining table, across an open-plan living space, along a wide hallway, or in a studio, office or reception area, where a single fitting can light the space from the ceiling. It comes in 2700K or 3000K. The 2700K choice gives a warm, homely light for living and dining rooms, while 3000K is a touch crisper and suits a study or workspace. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

We offer the Hilow in two versions. The DALI or push dimmable version dims through DALI or a push switch, so it needs a compatible dimmer or control. The 24V DC version, remote driver not included, needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which turns the mains supply into the low voltage the light runs on and sits away from the fitting. The fitting runs on 230V and is wired in to the mains by an electrician, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. The Brushed Titanium finish has a soft grey sheen that sits well against the black diffuser frames and pairs with pale wood, stone and linen. Choose your version before installation day, so your electrician has the right dimmer or driver ready.
