Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker for modular grid switches, pre-marked with the text 'Wine Cooler' in white print on a smoked bronze ABS finish. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and clips onto the grid switch module in place of a blank or differently-marked rocker.

Designed for use in kitchens, utility rooms and hospitality spaces where dedicated appliance circuits benefit from clear visual identification, the rocker allows users to label a switch controlling a wine cooler without needing adhesive labels or handwritten markers. The smoked bronze finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's Grid Pro range and other metal-finish modular grid systems.

The cover is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel spring clip on the reverse for secure attachment to the grid module. The smoked bronze coating is applied to the visible face, while the text is recessed and infilled with white pigment that resists wear from repeated switching. Rated IP20, the cover is suitable for dry indoor locations only.

Which grid switches is this compatible with?

This rocker fits Knightsbridge Grid Pro modules and other standard UK modular grid switch systems with 16mm-wide rocker slots. It does not fit conventional single-gang or screwless plate switches.

How is the rocker changed?

The existing rocker pulls off the front of the grid module by hand, and the new rocker clips onto the same module by pressing it into place until the steel spring clip engages. No tools or re-wiring are required.

What other markings are available?

Knightsbridge produces grid switch covers with a range of appliance markings including 'Dishwasher', 'Washing Machine', 'Tumble Dryer', 'Hob', 'Oven', 'Extractor', 'Fridge', and blank rockers. Use the search function to find other variants in stock at Niori.

No. The IP20 rating limits the cover to dry indoor locations only. For outdoor or wet-location grid switches, an IP-rated cover and enclosure are required.
