Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cap pre-marked 'HOB' in laser-etched text on a polished chrome finish. The cover clips onto a standard Knightsbridge grid rocker module, replacing the plain rocker with a labelled one to identify which switch controls the hob circuit in a multi-gang kitchen installation.

Designed for use in kitchens where multiple high-draw appliances (hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine) are controlled from a single grid plate, the pre-marked cover removes ambiguity about which switch isolates which circuit. The cover is interchangeable with other marked covers in the Knightsbridge range, allowing circuits to be relabelled if appliance positions change during a kitchen refit.

The polished chrome finish provides a high-gloss metallic surface that matches polished chrome grid frames and faceplates. The ABS construction with a steel spring mechanism gives a firm clip-on fit to the rocker module underneath. At 33mm high and 16mm wide, the cover fits all standard Knightsbridge grid rocker modules rated 10A, 16A or 20A.

Can the cover be changed after installation?

Yes. Grid rocker covers are designed to be interchangeable. Pull the existing cover off the rocker module and clip the new marked cover on without needing to isolate circuits or remove the grid frame from the wall.
