Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is marked HOB and finished in brushed brass. The cover clips onto existing grid rocker switches, replacing a blank or previously-marked cover to provide clear appliance identification at the switch itself. Constructed from ABS with a steel mounting clip, the cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the faceplate.

Designed for kitchen installations where multiple high-load appliances are controlled from a single bank of grid switches, the marked cover removes ambiguity about which rocker controls the hob circuit. The cover is interchangeable with other Knightsbridge marked covers in the same range, allowing you to re-label switches when appliances are replaced or circuits are reassigned without replacing the entire switch module.

The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with both traditional and contemporary kitchen aesthetics. The directional brushing softens reflections compared to polished brass, reducing fingerprint visibility and glare from task lighting. The HOB marking is engraved into the surface rather than printed, so it remains legible even after years of use.

The cover is designed for Knightsbridge grid rocker switches. It clips onto the existing rocker mechanism and replaces the existing cover. Check that your switch uses a removable rocker cover before ordering.

Can the cover be swapped for a different label later?

Yes. The cover is interchangeable with other marked covers in the Knightsbridge range including Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Cooker, Oven and blank covers. The rocker mechanism itself does not need to be replaced.

How is the HOB marking applied?

The HOB marking is engraved into the brushed brass surface, not printed. This means the text remains legible even after prolonged use and cleaning.
