This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker for modular grid switches, marked 'DISHWASHER' in raised lettering on a smoked bronze finish. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and is designed to clip onto Knightsbridge grid switch mechanisms, replacing a blank or differently-labelled rocker to identify the appliance controlled by that specific switch position.

Designed for kitchen installations where multiple high-draw appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer) are controlled by individual grid switches within a single multi-gang grid plate. Pre-labelling each rocker reduces the risk of accidentally switching off the wrong appliance and provides clear identification for household members or maintenance engineers who need to isolate a specific circuit. The cover fits all standard Knightsbridge grid switch modules rated up to 20A.

The smoked bronze finish is a dark metallic tone with a subtle bronze undertone, sitting between matt black and antique brass in appearance. The ABS and steel construction gives the rocker sufficient rigidity to withstand repeated switching without flexing, while the 6.8mm projection keeps the rocker profile low and flush with the grid plate face. The IP20 rating is suitable for dry indoor locations; for kitchen worktop splashback zones requiring higher ingress protection, position the grid plate outside the zone or use an IP-rated cover.
