Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cover finished in brushed brass, designed to fit modular grid switch systems. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the grid frame, and is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel backing plate for rigidity.

Designed for use in residential and commercial installations where grid switch systems allow individual rocker modules to be combined in multi-gang frames, the cover clips onto the underlying rocker mechanism without requiring re-wiring. This allows a brushed brass finish to be added to existing grid installations, or a damaged rocker cover to be replaced without replacing the entire switch module.

The brushed brass finish on the ABS body provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional, classical and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The brushed texture softens reflections compared to polished brass and hides minor surface marks that accumulate with daily use. The 25-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and finish degradation under normal residential use.

This cover is designed for Knightsbridge modular grid switch systems. Compatibility with other brands' grid systems depends on the rocker mechanism dimensions — check the 33mm x 16mm sizing against your existing rocker before ordering.

Can the cover be fitted without re-wiring?

Yes. The cover clips onto the existing rocker mechanism from the front of the grid frame. No electrical work or back-box access is required to replace the cover.
