Description

The Garota PF/01 is an outdoor ceiling light with a single squat globe shade in Brown, a close weave of synthetic fibre that hangs on a short stem beneath a round canopy. It is 24cm tall and the shade is 27cm across, so it sits close to the ceiling and stays clear of heads on a low porch. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 8.4W giving 263 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a CRI of 90 that keeps faces, timber and planting looking true to colour.

Rated IP66, it is made for outdoor use, and it suits exposed spots as readily as covered ones: over a front door, along a porch, under a balcony or on a covered walkway where it lights the way in. It brings a softer, more natural look outside than a plain metal fitting, and it sits comfortably beside timber decking, stone and outdoor furniture. Fit one over a table on a covered terrace or several in a row along a veranda ceiling. It is dimmable (TRIAC) with a compatible dimmer, so you can keep it low and warm for a late supper outside and bring it up when you need to see the steps.

It is made of aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene and synthetic fibre, finished in Graphite & Brown with a Brown shade, the round canopy and stem in a darker tone that frames the weave. The design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. This is a Class I fitting for the 230V mains, wired in by a qualified electrician. Before ordering, measure the height at the fixing point: at 24cm tall and 27cm across, it suits a modest porch ceiling as well as a high one.
