Description

Frame M is a bollard light shaped as an open rectangular frame with softly rounded edges, standing 70cm tall and 21.5cm across. A bar of integrated LED runs under its top and shines down into the hollow centre, so the whole inner frame glows. It gives 1350lm from 16.6W at a warm 2700K, and a CRI of 90 keeps planting, stone and timber looking their true colours after dark. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy or change. We offer it in White, Bronze, Grey or Corten.

This is a light for outdoors. Rated IP54, it is protected against dust and splashing water, so it can stand out in the open garden. At 70cm tall it is a low light that marks the way rather than flooding a space. Set a few along a path, beside a driveway or at the edge of a lawn, or put a pair either side of garden steps or a gateway so the way in is clear after dark. Its squared, open form suits a modern garden of clean lines, paving and clipped planting, and it looks just as at home against a rendered wall as among grasses.

The design is by Mario Ruiz. Kept to a simple frame, it reads as a quiet shape by day and a glowing outline at night. It dims on a compatible phase-cut dimmer, so you can bring the light down for a gentler evening. It runs on 230V mains, is a Class I fitting, and is wired in by an electrician. When choosing a finish, think about what it will stand against. White shows up crisply against dark walls and hedging, while Bronze, Grey and Corten sit back more quietly into planting and stone.
