Description
The Knightsbridge Grid flex outlet module provides a grommet aperture for cables up to 10mm diameter, finished in brushed brass. The module clips into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames from the front, allowing cables to pass through a modular wiring panel without the need to drill through solid faceplates or use separate cable grommets.
Designed for home AV installations, kitchen appliance feeds, desk power setups and anywhere a mains cable or low-voltage cable needs to pass through a wall plate whilst maintaining a finished appearance. The brushed brass face matches other modules in the Knightsbridge Grid range, allowing a consistent finish across sockets, switches, data ports and flex outlets in the same frame. The module measures 56.3mm high by 24.8mm wide and occupies one module position in a Grid frame.
The ABS and steel construction gives the module an IP20 rating suitable for dry indoor use. The 10mm aperture accepts most standard appliance flexes, kettle leads, and low-voltage cables used in audio, video and networking installations. The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional, classical and warm-toned contemporary interiors, and complements brass light fittings and cabinet hardware in kitchens and living spaces.

Frequently Asked
What's the maximum cable diameter this outlet accepts?
The module is rated for cables up to 10mm diameter. This accommodates most standard mains flexes for appliances, kettles and AV equipment, plus typical low-voltage audio, video and networking cables.
Does this module require a separate mounting frame?
Yes. Knightsbridge Grid modules clip into separate mounting frames that fix to the back box. The frames are sold separately and are available in configurations from 1-module up to 6-module widths to suit different installation requirements.
What back box depth is needed?
A minimum 35mm back box depth is required. The module has a recessed depth of 22.6mm plus the thickness of the mounting frame, so a standard 35mm UK back box provides sufficient clearance for safe installation.
What other finishes are available in the Grid range?
Knightsbridge produces the Grid system in multiple finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass, antique brass, matt black and white. Use the search function or category filters to find matching modules and frames in other finishes stocked at Niori.
