Description

The Firefly in the Sky rechargeable bollard light is a slim, cordless garden light in a Brushed Champagne finish. It stands 57.6cm tall, with a flared shade 12.4cm across set on top of a narrow stem, and the integrated LED inside gives a warm 2700K light. That LED draws 2W and gives 134lm, a soft, low glow for marking a path or a border rather than flooding a whole lawn. With a CRI of 90, colours under it, from planting to paving, look true to life. As the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change.

Rated IP65, it is protected against dust and jets of water, so this bollard light is made for outdoor use in the garden. Set one along a path, beside a front step, at the edge of a terrace or among the flower beds, and it gives a gentle pool of light at low height, right where people walk. Because it runs from its own rechargeable battery, there is no cable to bury and no mains wiring to plan. You can place it exactly where it looks and works best, and move it as the planting grows and changes.

The design is simple and clean: a flared shade, a slim stem and a round base plate, all in Brushed Champagne, a soft, warm tone that sits well against stone, gravel and green leaves. It is a Class III fitting that runs at 5V DC from its own battery. When the light needs topping up, charge it by USB-C, the same kind of connection many phones use.
