Description
The Equinoxe is a floor lamp built from four glass spheres held on a slender chrome stem, each globe of clear borosilicate glass shading a small G4 bulb. The spheres are spread near the top of the frame within a 560mm span, so the piece reads as a little constellation of soft points rather than a single bright source, on a slim upright standing 1660mm tall.
The light is low-key and diffused. Four G4 bulbs at 2W each sit inside faded smoky glass, which tints the glow a muted grey and keeps each sphere gentle to look at directly. This is a decorative, accent light rather than a main room light, the kind of quiet pool you place beside a chair, at the end of a sofa or in a corner that wants a little height and glow.
The frame is plated metal in chrome, with clear borosilicate glass diffusers shaded to faded smoke grey. We supply it ready to use: the four G4 bulbs are included, at 3000K, and the driver is built in, so it lights the moment it is plugged in. It runs on an on/off switch rather than a dimmer, and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Equinoxe give?
A soft, diffused glow. Four small G4 bulbs sit inside faded smoky glass spheres, so the light reads as a cluster of gentle grey-toned points rather than one bright source. It is an accent light, not a main room light.
Does it come ready to light?
Yes. The four G4 bulbs are included, at 2W each and 3000K, with the driver built in, so there are no bulbs to buy. It arrives ready to stand and plug in.
Can it be dimmed?
No. It runs on a simple on/off switch. The bulbs are replaceable G4 lamps, so a dimmable version could be fitted with a compatible in-line or wall dimmer if wanted.
How big is it and where does it suit?
It stands 1660mm tall with the spheres spread across 560mm. That height and soft glow suit a corner, the side of a sofa or a reading chair, in chrome with smoky grey glass.
