Description

The Elipse S/30 is a white globe pendant light made for outdoor use, with a gently flattened shape: the globe is 30cm across and 25.9cm tall. It hangs from a round canopy 12cm across and 4cm tall, and the pendant is 200cm tall overall. It is made from brass, iron and medium density polyethylene in a white finish. We sell it in two versions, chosen by light source. The integrated LED version needs no bulb and gives 1702 lumens from 17.1W at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90 so colours look true; it is TRIAC dimmable, so to dim it you need a compatible dimmer. The E27 version takes two E27 bulbs of up to 15W each, and the bulbs are not included.

Rated IP66, it is protected against dust and powerful jets of water, so it suits outdoor use: over a garden table, on a patio or terrace, or beside a porch where you want a soft glow after dark. It is just as at home indoors, hung over a dining table or in a living room, where one white globe gives a calm, even light. Because the same pendant works inside and out, it is a good choice for a dining room that opens on to a terrace, letting the light carry from one space to the next.

The design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà: a single smooth globe on a dark cable from a round canopy, with nothing to distract from its shape. It runs on 230V mains power and is a Class I fitting, to be wired in by a qualified electrician. Choose the LED version for dimmable light with no bulbs to fit, or the E27 version if you would rather pick your own bulbs. Either way, you get one pendant that serves a garden as well as a dining room.
