Description
The Ego accent is a low linear bar that clips onto the Ego 48V magnetic track, laying a focused strip of integrated-LED light rather than a round spot. The 223mm body sits close to the rail and throws its beam along a surface, so it grazes a textured wall, lifts a run of shelving or draws a line of light beside a display. Lit, it gives a soft directed wash in a warm 2700K tone; off, the slim matt black bar reads as a neat mark on the ceiling line.
Its LED runs at 7W and gives about 630 lumens at a tight 35 degrees, with a colour rendering above 90 so plaster, timber and fabric hold their true tone under the graze. Because it lives on a magnetic track, several bars can be spaced along a run and each aimed at its own stretch of wall, then repositioned by hand whenever a layout or display changes, which suits a gallery, a hallway or a retail bay.
The body is extruded aluminium in matt black RAL 9005 and the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The LED is integrated and rated to 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. This version is switched on and off at the mains. It needs the Ego 48V track and a driver, which we can supply alongside.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Ego accent give?
A focused linear graze in a warm 2700K tone, colour rendering above 90. The bar throws light along a surface at about 35 degrees rather than as a round spot, so it lifts a textured wall or a run of shelving.
Does it use a bulb?
No, the LED is built in and rated to 50,000 hours, giving about 630 lumens at 7W. There is nothing to fit or replace; the bar clips onto the Ego magnetic track and runs from its 48V supply.
Can it be dimmed?
This is the on-off version, switched at the mains without dimming. A matching DALI accent in the same range dims through a DALI controller if smooth adjustment is wanted.
What does it need to run?
The Ego 48V magnetic track and a driver, not a mains ceiling point. The bar locks onto the rail and can be slid and re-aimed later, so we can supply the track, feeds and driver to build the run.
