Ego Pendant Tube Track Light 5.5W - Black

The Ego pendant tube is a slim vertical rod that hangs from the Ego 48V magnetic track, dropping a single integrated-LED beam straight down onto whatever sits below. The tube reads as a thin matt black line rather than a shade, so it marks a point of light over a surface without blocking sight lines across a room. Lit, it lays a soft warm 3000K pool on the counter beneath; off, the fine 16mm body almost disappears against the ceiling rail.

Its LED runs at 5.5W and gives about 520 lumens, with a colour rendering above 90 so food, timber and stone keep their true tone in the light below. Hung at 2640mm it suits a kitchen island, a bar counter or a console, and because the tube clips to the magnetic track, a row of them can be spaced along a run and moved by hand whenever the layout shifts.

The body is extruded aluminium in matt black RAL 9005 and the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The LED is integrated and rated to 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. This version is switched on and off at the mains. It needs the Ego 48V track and a driver, which we can supply alongside.

What kind of light does the Ego pendant tube give?

A single downward beam of warm 3000K light with a colour rendering above 90. The slim tube drops the light onto a surface below rather than washing the room, which suits a spot over an island or counter.

Does it use a bulb?

No, the LED is built in and rated to 50,000 hours, giving about 520 lumens at 5.5W. There is nothing to fit or replace; the tube hangs from the Ego magnetic track and runs from its 48V supply.

How far does it hang?

The tube drops to around 2640mm overall, sized to sit above an island, bar or console. Because it clips to the track, its position along the run can be adjusted by hand later.

Can it be dimmed?

This is the on-off version, switched at the mains without dimming. A DALI head in the same range dims through a DALI controller if smooth adjustment is wanted over the counter.
