Description

The Dip Nero Marquina is an arc LED floor lamp from our Dip range: a slim curved arm rises from a round base and carries a flat disc head out into the room. It stands 196cm tall with a reach of 188cm, the head is 25cm across and the base 48cm across. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. At 18W it gives 1931lm with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look true under it. We sell it in three finishes, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black and Brushed Bronze, and in a 2700K or a 3000K version.

An arc lamp like this belongs in the living room. Stand it beside a sofa or a reading chair and the head reaches out over the seat, putting light where you read without a ceiling point or a side table in the way. It plugs in, so it can move when the furniture does, and it runs on 230V. It is dimmable by push, so the same lamp gives a bright pool for reading and a softer glow later in the evening. It is rated IP40, which means it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The design is pared back: one slender arc, a shallow disc head and a round base, so the light takes the attention rather than the lamp. Choose the finish that suits the room around it, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black or Brushed Bronze, and the colour temperature the same way: the 2700K version gives the warmer, homelier light, the 3000K version a slightly crisper white. One practical note before you order: with a 188cm reach and a base 48cm across, measure the space beside your seat so the base sits clear of where people walk and the head falls where you want the light. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket. Our photographs show the brushed champagne version.
