Description
The Corvella is a 320mm tall wall light combining a hemispherical travertine dome shade in light beige, a frosted spherical glass diffuser beneath it, and a walnut brown wooden backplate and shade collar. A matt black metal arm with a pivoting joint at the dome connects the two, and the fitting takes a single G9 bulb (sold separately).
Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways, the Corvella works as bedside reading light in place of a table lamp, as flanking lights either side of a sofa or fireplace, and as a low-level accent in hallways and stairwells. The 150mm width keeps the projection from the wall modest, so the fitting suits narrow circulation spaces as well as larger rooms. The pivot joint at the top of the arm allows the dome to be tilted slightly for directional emphasis.
The travertine dome shows the natural pores, pitting and warm tonal variation typical of the stone, so each shade carries its own pattern of markings rather than a uniform finish. When the G9 bulb is lit, light passes through the frosted glass globe below the dome and gives a soft, warm wash, while the travertine itself catches indirect light along its lower edge and highlights the texture of the surface. The walnut brown wood collar and circular backplate tie the matt black arm to a warmer palette and pair the fitting with oak floors, walnut furniture and earth-toned interiors.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Corvella take?
The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED G9 between 2700K and 3000K is the closest match to the soft glow shown when the light is illuminated.
Is each travertine shade identical?
No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pores, pitting and tonal variation differ from one shade to the next. The light beige base colour is consistent across the range, but the markings on each individual dome are unique.
Can the dome be angled?
Yes. A pivot joint at the top of the arm allows the dome and glass diffuser to be tilted, which is useful when using the Corvella as a bedside reading light or to direct light along a wall.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The Corvella is not specified with an IP rating, so it should be installed in dry interior locations only. For bathroom wall lighting, choose a fitting with an appropriate IP rating for the relevant zone.
