Description

Our Clio Ceiling Canopy gathers a cluster of pendants into one neat fixing on the ceiling. It is a round, flat disc in a Brushed Brass finish, 21cm across and 4cm high, with outlets set around its edge for the pendant cables. The canopy gives no light of its own: the pendants hung from it take their mains supply through it, so there is no bulb to choose for the canopy itself, and all the light comes from what you hang below it.

To light it, you need up to 8 M091__.000.0200 M094__.000.0200 M097__.000.0200 pendants to hang from it, each sold separately: the pendants give the light, and the canopy carries their mains supply to each of them. Eight drops from a single ceiling point make a generous cluster, so it suits a space over a dining table, a living room, or a tall hallway or stairwell where one group of pendants can fill the height. It is made for indoor rooms, and it brings a whole group of lights to the ceiling through one fixing rather than eight separate ones.

The Brushed Brass finish carries a fine circular grain across the face of the disc, which gives it a soft, warm sheen rather than a high polish. At just 4cm high, the canopy keeps a slim profile against the ceiling, so the eye goes to the pendants rather than to the fixing that holds them.
