Description

The Castle C120 is a large, low, round LED ceiling light, 120cm across, with a slotted band running around a broad white diffuser. Its integrated LED draws 19.5W and gives 3664lm of warm 3000K light, so there is no bulb to buy or change. With a CRI of 90, colours in the room look natural under it, from paintwork to fabrics. It is dimmable, by DALI or push, so it can be run from a DALI lighting control system or brought down from a push switch. We sell it in White, Black or Oak, so you can match it to a pale ceiling, set a dark ring against it, or bring in a warm oak tone.

At 120cm across, this is a ceiling light for generous spaces: a large living room, an open-plan dining area, a double-height hallway, a studio, an office or a meeting room, where one fitting needs to light a wide area. Because it sits low against the ceiling, it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too far down. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. A bedroom with a high ceiling suits it too, where the warm 3000K light keeps evenings restful.

The Castle C120 was designed by Stone Designs, who gave it a clean round form with a band cut by short slots along its upper edge. Each finish gives that band its own character: White disappears into a pale ceiling, Black reads as a crisp outline, and Oak adds warmth. It is a mains fitting at 230V, wired in by a qualified electrician, and a Class I fitting, meaning it is earthed. Before you order, measure your ceiling: at 120cm across it needs a wide clear stretch around the fixing point, and it is worth deciding with your electrician whether you want DALI control or a push switch.
