Description

The Carrara Small is a 200mm circular wall light cut from a single slab of veined marble, with a brushed brass disc fixed to the centre and an integrated 3000K LED concealed behind it. The white marble face carries bold black and soft grey veining that runs across the disc, and each piece varies because the pattern follows the natural mineral structure of the stone.

Light emerges from behind the central brass detail and washes outward across the marble, producing a soft halo on the wall around the fitting and warming the stone from within. The compact 200mm diameter suits bedside positions either side of a headboard, hallway runs where a series of fittings sets a rhythm along the wall, and reading corners or transitional spaces that benefit from low-level ambient light rather than direct task lighting.

The brushed brass centrepiece introduces a warm metallic tone against the cooler marble, and the brushed finish keeps reflections soft rather than mirror-bright. Marble is a heavier material than alabaster or glass, so the fitting has a substantial presence on the wall despite the modest diameter. The integrated 3000K LED runs on 230V mains and removes the need to source a separate bulb, keeping the marble face uninterrupted by a visible lamp.

No. The disc is cut from natural veined marble, so the pattern, density and direction of the black and grey veining differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the stone rather than a defect, and it is particularly noticeable when two or more fittings are installed side by side.
