The Cargo is a half-round outdoor wall light in solid brass with a raw brass finish, built around a front panel of clear ribbed glass. Raised brass bands run round the body, with smaller glass windows at the top and bottom and narrow windows down each side, so it has the look of a fitting from a ship's deck. It measures 16cm by 22cm and sits 10.5cm out from the wall, and at 2.4KG it is a solid, weighty piece. It is rated IP64: dust-tight and protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors in British weather.

Put it by a front door, in a porch, on a garden wall or on a boathouse. The maker describes the Cargo as having a bold Neo-Classical look, and says it was made for outdoor spots that want an industrial or nautical feel; the maker also says the maritime influence shows in the range's materials, designs and names. The maker notes the Cargo is often supplied in pairs, and two either side of a front door make a handsome welcome. Although it was designed for outdoors, the maker says it has found its way into plenty of luxury bathrooms, and its IP64 rating allows for that; a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone.
