Description

This is the Brooklyn Round 100cm ceiling canopy, a round plate that fixes flat to the ceiling and carries four pendants on their suspension. It is 39.5cm across and just 3.8cm deep, so it sits low and neat against the ceiling. The grips that hold the suspension cables are set around its underside. We offer it in three finishes, White, Black or Brushed Brass, so you can choose the one that suits your ceiling and the pendants you plan to hang from it.

It belongs to the Brooklyn Round range, and on its own it is only part of the fitting. It needs up to four pendants to hang from it, each sold separately, and it is not a complete light without them. What it gives you is one round plate on the ceiling for the whole group, rather than a separate canopy above every pendant. That keeps the ceiling clear and orderly when you want several pendants hanging together. It suits anyone planning a cluster of pendants in one room. It is rated IP40 and made for indoor use, so it is for dry rooms only.

Whichever finish you choose, the canopy is the same 39.5cm round plate with outlets for four pendants. The Black and Brushed Brass finishes also come in dimmable versions, by DALI or push dimming, and those need a compatible DALI control or a push switch to dim. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Before you order, check that your ceiling has a clear circle at least 39.5cm across where the plate will sit. Remember that no pendants come with it, so choose the four you want to hang from it alongside the canopy. Our photographs show the white version.
