Description

The Brooklyn Line is a linear LED pendant light: one long, slim bar that hangs level and sends its light down from the underside. It is 152cm long, 3.5cm wide and 3.5cm tall, so it reads as a fine line drawn across the room rather than a bulky fitting. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 29W and gives 1713 lumens of 3000K warm white light, with a CRI of 90 that keeps food, wood and fabrics looking their true colour. We offer it in white or black.

Its length makes it a natural choice over a long dining table, where a single bar lights the whole surface evenly from one end to the other. It works just as well in a living room, hung above a sideboard, a reading corner or a large desk. With a drop of up to 200cm, it can hang at a comfortable height over a table even beneath a tall ceiling. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The white finish sits quietly against a pale ceiling, while the black gives a crisper, darker line.

The bar hangs from two fine suspension wires, with its power cable running down from a slim canopy 21.4cm by 7.1cm. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. There are two dimming versions: a non-dimmable version for plain on and off switching, and a DALI or push dimmable version that dims through a DALI control or a push switch, for rooms where you want to lower the light in the evening.
