Description

The Brillia 3-phase trimless T-connector is a left-hand junction piece for creating T-shaped configurations in 3-phase track lighting systems. Finished in black plastic, the connector measures 203mm along the main run and 119mm on the perpendicular branch, with visible brass contact pins that carry power across all three phases through the junction.

Designed for use in track lighting installations where the circuit needs to branch at a 90-degree angle to the left, the connector fits Ideal Lux's Brillia 3-phase track range and other compatible 3-phase systems. The 1-10V dimmable notation indicates the connector passes dimming control signals when used with compatible LED track heads and a 1-10V dimmer on the circuit. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

The trimless design sits flush with the track profile rather than projecting below it, maintaining a clean line across the junction. Installation requires the connector to be clipped into the end of two track sections at the point where the layout turns, with contact pins aligning to maintain continuity across live, neutral and earth conductors plus the three switched phases. The black finish integrates with black track systems in retail, gallery, office and residential settings where directed accent lighting needs to follow non-linear ceiling layouts.

What is the difference between left and right T-connectors?

The left and right designations refer to the orientation of the perpendicular branch when looking along the main track run. A left connector branches to the left, a right connector branches to the right. Choose based on the direction your track layout needs to turn at the junction point.

Is this compatible with all 3-phase track systems?

The Brillia connector is designed for Ideal Lux's own Brillia 3-phase track range. Compatibility with other manufacturers' 3-phase tracks depends on matching the track profile dimensions and contact pin spacing. Verify compatibility before ordering if mixing brands.

Does the connector itself dim the lights?

No. The connector passes 1-10V dimming control signals through the circuit when a compatible dimmer is installed upstream, but it does not actively dim. Dimming requires a 1-10V driver in each track head and a 1-10V dimmer controlling the circuit.

Can this be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means this connector offers no protection against moisture or dust ingress and is suitable only for dry indoor environments.
