Description

The Brillia 3-Phase T-Connector Track Left is a black plastic junction component that forms a T-shaped intersection in a 3-phase track lighting system, with the electrical feed entering from the left-hand side. An integrated on-off switch controls power to the branch, allowing one section of the track to be isolated without affecting the rest of the circuit.

Designed for retail, gallery, showroom and office installations where track lighting runs need to branch at right angles, the connector sits surface-mounted at ceiling level and locks into the Brillia 3-phase track profile on three sides. The 168.5mm body length spans the junction point, while the 67.5mm projection accounts for the connector housing and terminal block depth below the track rail.

The black thermoplastic housing resists heat from track-mounted fittings and maintains its finish in commercial environments where the track system runs for extended periods. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — the connector is not suitable for bathroom zones or outdoor canopies. The 3-phase circuit allows independent dimming or switching of luminaires on different phases, provided the track system controller supports phase-selective control.

What does 'left-hand feed' mean?

The electrical connection enters the T-connector from the left-hand track run when you face the connector from below. This determines which side of the T receives live power and which sides distribute it to subsequent track sections or luminaires.

Is this compatible with all 3-phase track systems?

No. The Brillia connector is designed specifically for the Ideal Lux Brillia 3-phase track profile. Track lighting connectors are not interchangeable between manufacturers due to differences in rail width, contact spacing and locking mechanisms.

What does the on-off switch control?

The integrated switch isolates one branch of the T-junction, allowing the perpendicular track section to be powered off independently of the main track run. It does not provide dimming — only on-off switching.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector offers no protection against moisture ingress and is only suitable for dry indoor locations outside bathroom zones and away from direct water exposure.
