Description

The Bow LED Module Kit is a 50cm length of light made for the Bow system. Its integrated LED gives 800 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, so there is no bulb to buy or change. With a colour rendering index of 90, wood, plaster, fabric and skin keep their true colours in its light. The module lifts away from the straight line of its profile in a soft curve, so a plain dark line on a wall or ceiling breaks into a bright bow of light before running straight again.

It fits into a Bow Wall 300 profile, which is sold separately. The profile holds the module and carries the line across the wall or ceiling, so the module cannot be used on its own: order the two together. We would put one where a line of light draws the eye, such as across a hallway ceiling, around a doorway, along a landing or up the wall behind a sofa in a living room. The curve throws its light onto the nearby wall or ceiling, giving a soft wash rather than a hard glare. It is an indoor fitting with no IP rating, so it belongs in dry rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms.

The module runs at 24V DC, the low voltage of the Bow system, and does not connect straight to the mains. Like any system fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. Because the LED is integrated, the light is ready once the system is wired and live, with no lamp to choose and no shade to fit. At 800 lumens over 50cm, one module gives a warm line of accent light. Before you order, measure the run of Bow Wall 300 profile you are planning and choose where the curve should sit. The Bow wall profile in our photographs is not included.
