Description

The Blux W40 Plug-in is an aluminium wall light from our Blux System range, built around two arms and a single shade. The upper arm is 40cm long, the lower arm is 40cm long too, and the wall bracket that carries them is 34cm tall, so the light sits well out from the wall, right where you need it. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 10W, and that bulb is sold separately: it is the part that gives the light, so have one ready before you switch on. It comes in Black, Red, Beige, Brass or Copper.

Because it plugs in, it suits rooms where you want light on the wall without new wiring. It works well as a reading light beside a bed, over a favourite chair in the living room or above a sideboard in the dining room. Black, Red and Beige let you keep it quiet or bring colour to a painted wall, while Brass and Copper give a warmer look. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is not dimmable, so it simply switches on and off; pick an E27 bulb up to 10W in the colour of light you like best.

It is built simply: a Class I fitting with a single E27 lampholder, rated IP20 for indoor use, in the finish you choose from Black, Red, Beige, Brass and Copper. With two 40cm arms and a 34cm wall bracket it needs clear space around it, so before you choose a spot, check there is room beside the bed, chair or sideboard for the arms to sit comfortably. Then fit an E27 bulb of up to 10W, plug it in and it is ready to use. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
